Wilbur Zelinsky is Emeritus Professor of Geography at Pennsylvania State Unviersity.  He received his BA and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and his MA at University of Wisconsin-Madison.  One of the most beloved and well-known American geographers today, Prof. Zelinsky has served as national chair of the Association of American Geographers, is recipient of numerous grants from organizations such as the National Science Foundation.   For a partial list of his publications, we recommend the recent article, ”Tribute to Wilbur Zelinsky” by Joseph Wood, Geographical Review, Apr2006, Vol. 96, Issue 2.
